Dr Pepper Snapple Named to The Civic 50 for Our Commitment to Community

At Dr Pepper Snapple Group, we do good things with flavor – it’s a statement we made in our 2012 Sustainability Report, and it’s how we go about our business. That’s why we are proud to be named to The Civic 50 as one of the top 50 S&P companies making a difference in our communities.
Coming in at No. 39 shows that those surveyed by the National Conference on Citizenship (NCoC) and Points of Light, the nation’s definitive experts on civic engagement, believe, as we do, that DPS is making a difference in our communities. We were rated especially high for transparency to the public and for community partnerships, which includes our relationships with the American Red Cross, KaBOOM! and the Student Conservation Association.
And we are in good company – other food and beverage businesses on the list include the Campbell Soup Company, H.J. Heinz Company, Starbucks Coffee Company and The Hershey Company.
We are pleased to be making a difference through ACTION Nation, our corporate philanthropy program, which aims to support physically active, engaged and sustainable communities. So whether it’s our Let’s Play initiative, our employee giving campaign for United Way, or our environmental efforts, which were recently recognized in Newsweek’s annual Green Rankings, we know that we are doing good things for the communities in which DPS employees, customers and consumers live and operate.
